PDO Threads are a procedure used to tighten and lift skin using biodegradable sutures. They are as fine as a strand of hair. These sutures will naturally breakdown/absorb after approximately 6 months. The presence of PDO threads help produce collagen, which is the protein that gives your skin structure and elasticity, ultimately making you appear to have younger looking skin!

PDO Threads can be done on most areas of the face or neck. Results for younger clients can last 1-4 years and more mature clients, 1-2 years (variable pending overall skin care and sun exposure, along with lifestyle choices)

Avoid alcohol and tobacco at least 5 days prior to procedure

Avoid Advil, ibuprofen, Aspirin, omega 3s, green teas or tea extracts as these increase the risk of bleeding and bruising (avoid for 5 days prior to procedure)

After your PDO Procedure you should expect some swelling and bruising up to 2 weeks post

Avoid rubbing the area treated as much as possible

Avoid Drinking through a straw, smoking, or pursing you lips for the first several weeks (if lip area is treated)

For the first 1-2 weeks it is advised to avoid sleeping on your side and stomach, intense exercise, hot heated activities (saunas, hot tub, hot yoga, red light therapy)
